The Concept

Accepted poster presenters will have the opportunity to:

  • Present orally their work during the strolling poster session scheduled on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 18:00 to 19:00.
  • Receive the personal feedback of the Presidents and Chairmen of the congress.
  • Have the abstract published in the Abstract Book.
  • Compete for the Awards for Best Poster Presentation that will grant to the winning presenters the following benefits:
    • Abstracts published on COPD: Journal of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
    • Presenter’s name, profile, abstract and poster published on the congress website
    • Presenter’s name and title of the abstract published on the post–congress newsletter distributed to more than 8.000 European Professional in Respiratory Medicine.
    • Free registration to the 7th International Workshop on Lung Health

Authors presenting a poster during the oral poster session should be registered participants. Posters will not be displayed from unregistered authors.

YOUR abstract

Abstracts for posters submission has been closed on 4 November 2018.
Authors presenting a poster during the oral poster session should be registered participants.

Accepted authors can benefit from the Early Bird registration fee by registering before November 19, 2018.
Otherwise authors need to register by January 02, 2019 in order to confirm their poster presentation.

Posters from unregistered authors will be not be displayed during the congress.

In order to be able to present your poster during the Poster Session, please follow the instructions below:

Poster Format

Suggested format for poster: A0 (width 84,1 x height 118,9 cm) or similar

Orientation: vertical

Schedule

Posters can be set up on Friday, January 18, from 12:00 and dismantled Saturday, January 19, after 13:00.

  • Please refer to the registration desk to know your emplacement.
  • The strolling poster session is scheduled on Friday, January 18 from 18.00 – 19.00.
  • The poster presenters are requested to stay beside their poster in order to illustrate it to the Committee and to reply to participants’ questions.

Only the poster presenters attending the session will be eligible for poster prize.
