Until the Event:
Welcome
A very warm welcome to the International Workshop on Lung Health (IWLH) 2027.
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the XIV International Workshop on Lung Health, taking place in Florence, Italy, from 17 to 19 January 2027.
This year’s edition is built around the theme “Bridging Science & Care in Respiratory Diseases”—a concept that reflects our shared commitment to transforming scientific discoveries into meaningful improvements in patient outcomes.
The Rising Stars Session and the FuHeL mentoring programme will once again provide a platform for early-career clinicians and researchers, whose enthusiasm and scientific curiosity are essential to the vitality of our field.
Over the following days, the scientific programme will bring together the latest advances in respiratory medicine with real-world clinical perspectives, reinforcing the bridge between scientific innovation and patient care.
A distinctive feature of this edition is the emphasis on interaction and innovation. The Clinical Case & Research Ideas Slam will encourage dynamic exchange between faculty and participants, while the programme will continue to highlight cutting-edge research, novel therapeutic approaches, and multidisciplinary strategies aimed at improving both disease management and quality of life for patients.
We are deeply grateful for your participation and scientific contribution. Your presence is what makes the International Workshop on Lung Health a unique forum for collaboration, education, and the advancement of respiratory medicine.
